This fight is personal for me. I have seen family and friends struggle with rising costs and surprise medical bills which force families across our community to choose between their health and the ability to pay their bills.
Pennsylvania is 47th in the country in education funding and as a North Penn School Board Director, I’m sick of cleaning up for the mess that the GOP legislature passes down to us every year. I deal firsthand with the lack of support that affects the students in our school district.
Every year, when the same common-sense guns laws are introduced in Harrisburg to protect schools, communities and families from tragedy, those bills never have any chance of passing because of the current Republican leadership.
I’m running to fight for Pennsylvania families because, to me, “good enough” is not acceptable in my elected officials. The status quo must change.
