A Message from the Cerrato Campaign:

We knew this race was going to be tough and we knew that it would be tight. I have told thousands of voters at their doors that EVERY VOTE MATTERS and this race is proving that is true.

As of last count on Tuesday, we were trailing my opponent by only 26 votes. There are many ballots that remain to be counted and we are wholly optimistic that we will prevail when they are.

To ensure that every vote is counted and no voter is disenfranchised we must remain patient during this time and allow the County to follow all proper procedures.

We have pulled in the Elias Law Group to assist us in all legal challenges that arise. While I thought I would not need to ask anymore of you in this race, I realize that I need you once more.  We ensured that every dollar we raised had gone to getting our message out across the district and getting out the vote. This has left us with no remaining balance to use for a legal fund

Help us prove that EVERY VOTE MATTERS and ensure that every vote is counted by donating here: https://secure.actblue.com/donate/151legalfund

Thank you for your continued support and I look forward to celebrating with you all when the last vote is tallied.

Missy

Preliminary 2022 Mid-Term Election Results

This morning, we were thrilled to congratulate our next PA Governor, Josh Shapiro, our next US Senator from PA, John Fetterman, and the re-elected State Senator for the 12th PA District, Maria Collett. Horsham has Congressional representation from two districts. We congratulate Madeleine Dean on her victory in her re-election bid. We are disappointed that we weren't able to elect Ashley Ehasz yesterday but she has truly proven herself to be a fighter and we hope she will be back to run for office again in the future! We continue to wait for final results from Montgomery County for the 151st State Representative seat. After counting in-person and mail-in ballots, only 26 votes separate sitting Rep, Todd Stephens and Melissa Cerrato. Provisional and Military Ballots remain to be counted.
Regardless of the outcome, a hard fought race all around with countless volunteers contributing time, energy and effort to work to flip this seat in the PA House. Thank you to everyone involved in making yesterday's Election Day a success at Horsham precincts across the township.

All 12 of the Ballot Drop Box locations are listed in the Voter Services news release.

Before depositing mail-in or absentee ballots into the drop-off box, voter must make sure their completed ballot is placed inside the smaller, secrecy envelope first. Then, put the sealed secrecy envelope into the official return envelope and complete the voter’s declaration on the back. Ballots that are not in both envelopes cannot be counted per Pennsylvania Election Code.

Pursuant to the Pennsylvania Election Code, voted ballots may only be returned by the individual voter and not by any other individuals. All drop box locations are monitored using CCTV video surveillance. Anyone depositing a ballot that does not belong to them will be referred to the District Attorney’s Office.

If a voter has an illness or disability that prevents them from dropping off their ballot, they can designate an agent to pick up or drop off their ballot. The agent can only pick up or drop off ballots for voters who are in the same household, and the ballot can only be picked up at Montgomery County Voter Services located at 425 Swede St., 6th Floor, Norristown, PA 19401.

The voter registration profile will also provide residents the address of their polling location and indicate if they are on the list to receive a ballot by mail for the November Election.

Ballot status will update online at the Department of State website. Voters who provided an email address on their application will receive an email when the Montgomery County Election Board has received the ballot. All mail-in ballots must be received by 8 p.m. on November 8, 2022 – postmarks do not apply.
